The single biggest difference between two Umrah groups is the person leading them. This is what we ask of ours, and what you can expect from yours.

What a Hisar group leader does

Before you travel

Runs the live pre-departure webinar, answers the questions families are shy about asking, and makes sure nobody boards without understanding ihram.

On the journey

Travels on your flight. Handles the airport, the transfer, the hotel and the timings so that you are not negotiating anything in a language you do not speak.

In the Haram

Walks the group through tawaf and sa'i rather than pointing at a door, keeps the group together, and teaches as you go.

On Ziyarat

Explains what you are standing in front of and why it matters, instead of reciting a list of names.

When something goes wrong

Answers at two in the morning. This is the part nobody thinks about until it is the only part that matters.

What we require

Sound religious knowledge of the rites, and the humility to refer a question upward rather than improvise an answer
Direct experience of leading Hajj or Umrah groups, not only of performing them
Enough Arabic to handle the ground
The language your group actually speaks — we run groups in Urdu, Hindi and English
The patience to explain the same thing five times to five people
Care for elderly pilgrims, who need the most and ask for the least
